Ok so here is my dodge and burn photo. This is an amazing tool, and I am not doing it any sort of justice. I wish more and more that I purchased CS#, but elements is doing well enough. Anyways the edge is a bit ruff so I will work on this. I reduced the shadows in the shot,and took away a bit of the grass on the sand. I'm going to keep working on this to clean it and make it more realistic, but here it is as my first post.

it really is amazing how much of a difference this tool can make! Most of the photoshop features are all new to me - it's incredible what you can do with it!
I agree, making the grass look a little more realistic would enhance this photo, but i love how much brighter and inviting the photo is after you took away a lot of the darker shadows. Nice job
I think the tool worked really well and gives the photo a sort of South Miami Beach neon look. LOVE IT!
Wow, you really got the plants to show with the dodge tool. It's amazing how much detail is behind the over exposed section.
