So I was lucky enough to have two beautiful days in a row off. The day I took my landscape shots was overcast and warm. I was driving and walking around Lake Champlain. This Picture is taken from the side of RT 7 near Shelburne. I noticed the lake poking through the fields and Hills. I put the homestead right of center to pull the viewers eyes over the whole shot, and was pleased to see the sapling left of center in my viewfinder. I love how the mountains way in the back fade into obscurity. I was pretty happy with this shot.

Wow, Bob Ross would be proud of this one. I love how you captured the hay field, with the shadows and all. I also thought it was great how the barn was placed on the left and from behind it the mountains and water appear. Great depth.

I love this shot! It feels as if children chasing a butterfly will be coming through any second! Really like the angle that this was taken from! Very serene! Great capture! Did you try this location at different times of day to see which lighting had the most impact?

Jay, sadley I all but forgot about Bob Ross Thank you for bringing him back to my attention. The funny thing about this is it wasn't planned. I was driving and there the shot was. I loved how it layered back through the field, homestead, lake, and hills. I just got lucky.

Rach, No as I said to Jay I really got lucky here. I live an hour and a half from this location, and was just driving by. I bet it would look magical in the early morning, and maybe I will get to take the shot at someday. Thanks for the comment.

You've got great perspective in this shot...a great expanse of field and the buildings on the thirds...the sapling you are right makes the shot even better...
